On islands or the land that joins the river.

Boat only access.

On the river, as in behind the levee ? I have deer hunted inside the levee a few times. Can't get much better hunting than inside the levee

I was born and raised within 2 miles of the river in the heart of the delta. The land behind the levee was mostly hunting clubs back then but now it costs mega dollars to hunt there. The islands were fun to rabbit hunt with some of the biggest bunnies you've ever seen. Those days are gone now and I sure do miss them.
