I'd really like to think you're not serious with that comment but from your history on this board I'd say I'm probably wrong. Do you understand stereotyping? I'm sure you don't really care or maybe you really don't understand. Either way that's a pretty stupid statement from an adult.

You would have to come from the Bear Bryant era to understand the tn v ALABAMA rivalry to understand what the 3rd Saturday in October is really about. I am not sure how old you are. And Maybe the younger generation alot of that has been filtered out and away. But YES a TRUE ALABAMA fan HATES the vol fan base. Does that mean we don't have friends that are vol fans? Nope. About half the guys that come over to guys night at the house are vol fans and some michican fans and even Florida Fans. . We all get along and take digs at each other on football games. We get it. We don't sit around and call each other names like some of yall do. I assure you if yall showed up with this name calling BS yall would get smacked in the face and probably alot more. But we are all grown men and don't act like kindergarteners . Even when the alcohol is flowing.

I don't think you can hate somebody and hang out together. Hate would be Jewish vs Hamas in my opinion. A bunch of knuckleheads hanging out and watching football don't usually hate each other. Most anytime I have been to a UT/bama watch party it's not the ideal environment unless you are very close friends with the opposing fans. I myself prefer not to attend those gatherings. But it's not because I hate them. Just get tired of hearing them run their mouths. Not sure why people make a big deal out of the Bear days. That rivalry has been around way before Bear was at bama. He was just a reason for people like you to jump on the bandwagon. I've got friends and relatives who jumped on that bandwagon and it's generational too. Never understood it. And for some reason they seem to have a disdain for UT just like you. Bad part is none of them ever lived in Alabama or had any ties there. But for some reason it makes them feel superior. Too bad for them there won't be any bama fans in heaven or hell. Just like there won't be any UT fans there either.

Yes, UT was a rival game before Coach Bryant was even a player at Alabama. It goes way back. I think there is more respect by most of the older generation than there is hate. I'm not into the hate or trash-talk so I try to ignore threads that are started with trolling in mind and to ignore posts that I see as strictly trash-talk and trolling.
