I have a Stevens/Savage 320 Turkey gun and need a picatinny rail. I've ordered one and it's on backorder and they just keep pushing the estimated ship date out, so not sure if I will ever get one.

Has anyone ever modified one to fit a different gun? I'm thinking about finding one of similar length and just drilling holes to match. Would this work?

I had one of those savages, and the red dot on top of rail was higher than my liking. Couldnt see it with cheek on stock. Needed a cheek riser. Instead of what you are looking at, what about looking into that new vortex direct mount red dot?

I'll look into this. Thanks

There has to be more than one company making those .
This is a better solution if you're OK spending a little more.
