Multi Pin Slider Sights: How About It

Also I would highly suggest you pack an advanced first aid kit with you to tend to the wounds you are going to receive from the azz whoopin' put on you! Even shooting
known yardage with 15 yard pin gap, you better hope you're first aid kit has life support cause you're gonna need it!

Holy cow Dr. Pepper burns when it comes out your nose from laughing! Bahahah that's the funniest thing I've ran on here in a while!! That was great.

If it were me I would print the tape and have my indicator touching the actual yardage line.

A 15 yard pin gap? Really? Have you thought this one over thoroughly? Remember in the 3D game the 10 ring is 5" and the 12 ring is 1.5" on average.

A pin gap of 15 yards is huge liability in the game of 3D and I think it would invite some real problems. As an example targets in the 35-40 yard range give me the hardest time judging accurately. A lot of folks shooting Hunter Class set their pins up at 23, 28, 33, 38 and with a max no greater than 40 yds they shoot it really good!

You need to be a human rangefinder if you are going to use a a 15 yd pin gap on a 3D Course. Also I would highly suggest you pack an advanced first aid kit with you to tend to the wounds you are going to receive from the azz whoopin' put on you! Even shooting

Woah now that's some pretty strong words there partner.

1) 3D is not the #1 priority on this sight. I now have a 25 and a 40 yard pin for HUNTING.

2) Im not trying to be a pro 3D shooter. Just fun. Honestly I don't care what I shoot and don't plan to compete with guys like yourself shooting target set ups.

Come on UTG, I'm trying to get you motivated into shooting with us!!! You'd have a blast! Then you can come out there and talk your own brand of smack!

Don't take my word for it, ask some of these guys on here what they think of a 15 yard pin gap for hunting fur or foam! Crow, BH163, or Huntfish are all excellent shots, ask their opinion!

Come on UTG it's time to put up or shut up! A young whippersnapper such as yourself shouldn't have a hard time whooping up on an old geezer like me! Just remember to respect your elders while doing so! Just remember we shoot it all UNKNOWN in the geezer open class!

That's funny right there. :)

I can hang. I'm not a bad shot. Sure I won't compete against someone shooting an open set up but I will be able to post a score.

I hunted with a single pin for a couple years and always wanted that 2nd pin for that 40 yard shot. That's what I've got with this set up and a third pin for fun or maybe a coyote if I'm ever lucky enough.

Pounding those bags at the AG center just isn't the same as 3D. I hunt with a Hogg Father single up pin and love it! While hunting I leave the dial unlocked for a very rapid pin movement should I need to and it works awesome!

UTG -- What he's doing is a big part of the fun of 3D. Raggin' on folks. If they were quiet and didn't rag you about anything, then you would know we didn't like ya. They give you down the road, and you throw it right back at 'em and everybody has a good time and can't wait til the next one.

:)

I cant figure out why I cant see the pictures on some threads but on others i can...any body know why?

I noticed a few of my pics didn't post in this thread. Can you not see any of them?

I cant see any in this thread and only about 25% of the pics in the other threads...

I'm really liking that .010 floater pin at the bottom. Here's a group from 70 today. The .010 pin made a huge difference long range. I can now see what I'm shooting at.

Im really liking this set up. This weekend I simply flipped my yardage needle over and set it on 25. This weekend at the Old Hickory shoot I used my top pin as the floater. Because its set up in the fixed pin config at 25, 40, 50 there is no clutter around my top pin.

When hunting season comes back I will simply set the needle back on 50 and go back to 25,40,50 with the bottom as a floater for stuff out beyond 50.
