Anyone alternate hinge releases? I've been shooting my Scott Longhorn for close to a year. It's getting to where I anticipate the shot. I'm thinking about adding another hinge to my set up and having a different travel setting. That way I can swap them out to stay fresh.

You can just flip the half moon over to get rid of the clicker and adjust it a little when you start anticipating.

I liked the trueball three finger. It's a good release. I can't remember the name but I believe it was a Stan. It had a locking feature so it wouldn't accidentally go off on the draw. But it had the reversible half moon. I always reversed mine. Every time it took it hunting. The click spoke the deer. Lol. Took a bit to learn that one.

I have a Stan Nero...it's in the MoreX series. After I handled some of the others at the ASA shoots, I wish I had got the Sable instead of the Nero. It fit my hand much better. I do like the feel of the Stan releases. I don't think they make a bad one in any of their lineups.

My current inventory of releases are a Stan Shoot-off Quattro for hunting, Scott Longhorn Pro-Advantage (my favorite), Scott Longhorn Hunter, and a Tru-Ball HT3 Pro. I have owned a Stan Black Pearl and a couple of Stan Jet Blacks. Recently I sold off my Stans. The Stan are great releases, I just have a few others I like better!
