I just bought a TC Encore in 50 caliber and I am ready to zero it in with the correct load. All my shots will be less than 100 yards and I want a bullet that will perform great every time. My son has an Encore and he shot Power Belts in it. They grouped extremely well but they did not stop deer in their tracks. I plan to use Blackhorn 209 for my powder and want good info on best bullet choices.

Thanks in advance.

Lehigh defense controlled fracture in harvester crush rib sabots. I know it's something not a lot have heard of but these are outstanding in a muzzleloader if you want damage and blood.

I like the Harvester Scorpion PT Gold 300gr

In .429-.430" bullets I bet their 300gr White Lightning is excellent. I have used the 270gr Speer Gold Dot and 300gr Hornady XTP with perfect results.
