How is that ? Because they come split off of a main beam tine ? It's symmetrical rack though , shouldn't hurt the scoring . That's a ten point in my book ! Congrats brother .The common base G2s on both side are pretty nifty. 8 point non-typical points by Boone and Crockett standards.

That's right. One side of the split would be the tine, the other would be an abnormal point. It would also affect the last circumference measurement as an 8 instead of 10. He may score 125 as a typical 8 pointer or 140+ as a non typical 10. If a deer only had a common base on one side what would typically be a measurable tine length now becomes a deduction.
