Terribly sorry about your losses. I'm sure today was very emotional. And I'm thrilled you were able to bag such a hoss of a buck. Congrats to you my friend
Exactly. The good Lord knows when you need a pick me up, and knows exactly what you need to cheer you up a bit.
That's what it's all about, right?"Thx for giving glory where its due…"
You know it, brother. And it can be such a battle of the mind, especially when you're not seeing anything for hours. Since I didn't know how I'd be able to stay on stand for any length of time last season I didn't hunt until muzzleloader. I was just so afraid of sitting there with my thoughts and ending up more depressed. Might not have hunted at all if I didn't have a hunting buddy to go with, my good friend Chris Wilson. Thankfully he bought a new crossbow this year, though, so I've had motivation and someone to go with from day one. And I'm doing much better. Thanks!Nice deer!
Sitting in the woods sure gives time to reflect on a lot of things.

Yes He does. My favorite mornings are the quiet, dry mornings when I can read some Scripture while waiting on the sounds of squirrels to change to the sound of deer.Congrats on a great day in the woods. People who think it's all about getting up at 4 am to sit in the woods and kill something have no idea what they are talking about. There is a reason why God tells us to "be still" and I honestly believe he speaks to us there.
