My buddys first fish

My buddy drove to Cotter Arkansas today to buy a boat.
He ended up buying it and then reserved a room for the night and hit the water.
He got his first fish in his new boat.
I told him the bite must be off because I see powerbait lol

On a serious note , does he know he has to have a throwable life preserver aboard, I am assuming it is over 16 ft. Probably knows , don't need to get a ticket.l

Talked to him this morning and he said it was an older guy that bought the boat & motor new.
He has had it in the water twice since he bought it.

After making the deal he found the only room avaliable and it was at Gaston's and fished a little Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
He said everything about the boat is tight and basically brand new.
He did good.
I am going by to look at it this afternoon.

Oddly enough the next trip we made to the White together he caught his best trout yet.
I can't remember exactly but I am pretty sure it was 21".
Caught it on powerbait too.
