My First Compound Bow

I'm hesitant to suggest checking out ArcheryTalk's forums. It has a ton more people on it but you have to be careful in who you listen to. Some of those guys are sharp and some only pick a bow up a week before hunting season but think they know more than everybody else. Some people are happy hitting a dinner plate size circle at 30 yards and some aren't happy until they can consistently hit a quarter size circle at 30. I used to be in the latter but now I can't even see a quarter size dot at 30 😆

I mean, hey, a Skoal can is plenty accurate for an ethical shot to the lungs! At the end of the day, I'm trying to hunt, not become an Olympic gold medalist, lol. I'll strive for improvement, but I won't beat myself up for perfection. After all, archery is only a single aspect of the big picture.

Brian is good people and will always help when you come to him. If you need anything archery related I suggest going to him and not online. The local shops need our support as much as we need theirs. Good luck and welcome!!
