The way to tell exactly where your gun is hitting is shoot it at about 10 steps with some light loads ( to save the arm and the wallet). It will blow a big hole and you can see right where its hitting. I'd adjust it there if you have the sights to adjust, or if your like me, you know where to hold so that the gun will pattern the best. Afterwards, shoot it down range at 20, 30, 40, ect. to see how it patterns down the range.

You've got some good advice here,. the only thing that i will add is if the gun was purchased used,.. clean the barrel til its clean before you shoot at targets. Another thing,.. if you just turned that choke in by hand,.. before you shoot every time make sure that choke is tight in the barrel. If you are going to shoot at turkey targets,. don't aim at the head directly,.. aim middle ways of the neck. Thats the only things i will add,.. except step up to better shells such as winchester x-tended range, hevi 13's, or nitro's for 40 yards plus shots. If not,.. rely on your calling to get them to 30!!

I like to aim for right where the feathers stop on his neck..... then if he moves his head one way or the other he is still in my pattern circle....
