I'm absolutely loving this little 870. I may never hunt with a 12 again.

My son has killed two with his the last two years. Last year was at 30 and this year at 40. He hammered both, and they never flopped. I was really amazed at the 40 yard shot with such a little gun. I missed my opportunity to double this past weekend with my 20 gauge, but it wasn't the gun's fault. The only thing is that the choke that I have in mine shoots a little tighter than his. I ordered 3 chokes for his last year and picked the one with the most consistent, wider pattern. I had to shoot quick after he shot, and that's what got me as the patter was tighter. or at least that's my story. I ordered a choke like his which is the Carlson's 575 to try in my gun as well.
