My oldest son was able to come hunt with me this morning. We don't get to hunt together much any more because of work and he got married a couple months ago. He only got to hunt with us once last year so I was pretty excited about him hunting with me today. I put him in a ladder stand on a micro plot about 100 yards from a bedding area and it's on the edge of a thick travel corridor. He ended up with a hot doe around him and had several bucks in the area. He said they were very vocal this morning grunting, snort wheezing and growling. It was fun seeing him so excited about the hunt. If I remember right I think this is his first deer in 3 or 4 years.
