my season is over

after all the hung up birds, sweat, tears and misses....this morning topped it off !!! im done for the season birds arent gobbling much more anyways. ive got some kinda bad karma monkey on my back,and i just put all my hunting clothes in the washer to get him off...lol.time to do some fishing !!!

i know theres still time left,but aggravation has got the best of me,this bird i was after was only gonna allow so many screw ups,and this a.m i really screwed up after finally calling him in with a hen @ 45 yds and closing.....i may give it 1 more chance but it will be @ closing week.....if i do

experience is only accomplished by time spent trying something and you cant kill them from the couch.

ya,it has worked for me in the past just not this year

This would make me more determined than ever to kill one! The very fact that turkey hunting can be so challenging is what keeps me going back for more. The more challenging it is, the more rewarding the payoff will be.
