Near Linden

Is there a lot of turkeys near Linden in perry county.There seems to be a lot of cutover.How is the hunting, is it good fair poor etc.Thanks for any info.

I have hunted that general area for several years now. I would call the area around Linden fair based on the choices you provided. There has been heavy timbering in and around Linden over the past 5-7 years for sure. Turkeys in Perry county area are "spotty" meaning you may have one farm with 3-4 birds gobbling on it and have another farm down the road with no turkeys on it. The only way to know for sure is to scout your area the end of March time frame and/or hunt it a morning or two when season opens. Best of luck!!

Haven't hunted it in a couple of years but where I hunted was covered up with them. My cousin owns 1,000 acres there but leases it all out now but like I said his place was loaded with them.
