Need a little help

boy people get touchy when you suggest that it might be shooter error.

Glad you got it fixed.

Touchy huh.. I knew it wasn't me. Plan and simple moved the rest over and fixed the problem

The more I keep thinking about it, I'm considering switching to a drop away rest of some kind.

Whats a good one that will not break the bank?

I teach archery, and have helped MANY a shooter kill his first deer, or place in their first 3-D comp.

MANY shooters have neither the time, nor the patience to practice as much as it takes to become one of the "ELITE" shooters. So I suggest these archers shoot a bow that is VERY forgiving of shooter error. ANd for most archers this means a long brace height bow. Say about 8 inches.

It absolutely AMAZES folks at just how well they can shoot with a VERY forgiving bow...day in and day out!

Yep. Even the "elite" archers tend to shoot high BH bows ;)

Shane, I switched from the WB to the Ripcord last year and my only regret is that I didn't change over sooner. It's a super-quite, full-containment rest. A good benefit to the Ripcord is that you can lock the arm in the up position. It's easy to set up and it tightened up my groups immediately!

The ripcords are around 90 bucks right? I've never shot with a Ripcord. I would really like to try it

Yes, you can find them for around $90 give or take. I would get the new model the Code Red Ripcord. They made some improvements, sound related, that made a great rest better. You can go to their website http://www.ripcordarrowrest.com/index.html ,or you can also search youtube.com for some video.

That looks like a nice setup! Thanks for the link. I would really like to shoot one before I bought it. But I'm interested for sure
