There is a guy on archery talk from Minnesota that is wanting to do some trading on bows. The problem is that he isn't going to ship his bow until he gets mine. He is a new member and so am I. Basicly we don't trust each other because neither one of us has any positive feed back because we are new members and have not done any trading on archery talk. He became a member when he saw my bow on there for trade. I became a member just to be able to post my bow for trade Also I'm very nervous about trading my $800 brand new bow that I've only had for 2 months and not get anything in return. What should I do?

Maybe try to use a 3rd party??Maybe have him ship his to a bow shop by you and you ship yours to a bow shop by him and once both bow shops confirm that they have each others bows, then they can release them??Just a thought.

That is kind of a tough call. But, say you signed up just to post your bow for trade. He signed in to trade for your bow. First of all you got a new bow and want to trade it already. What about the bow don't you like. If it is a draw weight or draw length issue and it is a new bow then the shop you got it from should help you get new cams/modules or new limbs to make it fit you. Trading online is a trust issue. I have traded and bought bows unseen. I may be one of the few but I haven't been burnt yet. One of you will have make the first move if this what you want to do. If his bow is older than have him ship you his bow first and you check it out. If it isn't what you want or expect ship his back to him, if it is what you want then ship yours to him. Sometimes it is best to not be to rushed to make a deal.
