Need tips for Tims Ford lake youth trip

Hi yall. Looking for some friendly advice- taking about 6 or 7 of my youth group camping at Tims ford state park this weekend (9th-11th). As we only have Kayaks- could anyone offer some fishing advice fairly close to that area? They like everything from Bass to cats to bream...
I've fished this lake several years ago- on the east end and never on this end of the lake.
What should we expect, bring as bait/ tackle and what tactics to use: Drop shot, slip bobber etc...

Fish the cove at the State Park launch ramp. Throw DT6 cranks or series 300 bandits....A good ole texas rigged red bug worm is always good.
