What cartridge and load?

.270 150 gr SP. I've killed bunches of deer with this rifle and cartridge. First time I've gotten 0 blood.

That's crazy. I would have expected that cartridge and round to give a great blood trail, but then again it is a hunk of lead and copper hitting at around 2800fps
