2017 Iron Bowl ALABAMA who had been #1 all season long goes down to a terrible auburn team . Everyone wrote ALABAMA off . The dynasty was over . No way would they make the play offs . Where was auburn ??? ALABAMA came back to win the nanny.

Here's the thing . You could have made a argument that OSU should have been in that 4th spot or ND . But neither of those teams were going to WIN the National Championship .

Right now statistically LSU is #1. Let the party begin. While they are currently #1 statistically they are not exactly dominant. Struggle win against a terrible auburn team . Struggled the longest with Florida . Letting Vandy put 36 points against you . Not instilling a lot of dominance .

Best part of this poll was seeing auburn out of the top 10 . Would have been much better with them out of the top 25 where they should be .
