New hunting rig

Found a really good deal on a S&W 686 with a 2x Burris scope last week and bought it.. First time really having any type of "hunting pistol" but I have wanted one for awhile now... Took it to the range earlier today and I am impressed so far... certainly could kill a deer at 50 yards for sure.. I think this will be fun

I had a 686 and always said I'd deer hunt with it. Had that pistol 2 years and never even shot it . I want another!

I love my 686. There is something about the S&W revolvers that just trip my trigger. Mine has rubber grips. I've been toying with putting a scope on it, but I am confident out to 50 yards with iron sights

I have a 4" pre-lock that I tried to trade for a new 6" because they are already drilled and tapped for a scope mount, but didn't have any luck. I may have to try again someday. I have the mount and the scope, just need the right gun to put it on.
