Hi everyone!
New member here. Just wanted to take time to say hello. I've read a plethora of topics on this site in the five years I've lived in Middle Tennessee. Just never took the opportunity to register and become an "official member".
I've mostly came across the site from time to time when googling random things in my learning to hunt the region and WMA I almost exclusively hunt. This year the WMA here has become more difficult than it ever has for me.
It's never been easy, as I haven't had years and years or the time to scout regularly. But I've always managed to see deer and even harvested few. But I definitely can see and feel the pressure of people, constant growth of more and more development starting to be obvious.
May be just rumor. But I've read that some changes in regulations and possibly even starting special weapons and/or more bow only areas may begin on some of the Yanahli sections. Very curious to stay up to date with any, if any changes regarding this.
