Smallmouth larger than 12" have always avoided my on the harpeth. I have caught some nice largemouth and even caught a few back in the day on the little harpeth. Brush Creek, Jones Creek and Turnbull have always been my go to smallie places.

Dude that's a beauty! My PB is 18.25"...I'd love to break the 20" mark on that species sometime. Congrats!

I had two personal best smallies tied at 18.25" until this one. 20" is my goal as well. I will get a tarp certificate when that happens, and I will probably cook and eat the fish too.MidTennFisher said:
