Hey guys, can I get some of you to give up some of that super secret load data. I am start work on a new load for my .338 Lapua Magnum using a 250 gr Berger Bullets. I have heard some really great things about them. I need something else to work on. Did I really say that?:p

I have focused primarily on the the 300 grain SMK and I have that one nailed down.

I liked h1000 for 250s and retumbo fir 300s but that was before rl33 came out and I never tried that
And inside of 1200 yards I really liked the 250s better than the 300s

Go ahead and research a load but just for giggles, I'd like to run it in quickload just to see how close my calculation is to what your best accuracy load ends up being at a given seating depth. I need barrel length, COAL at your desired seating depth, and projectile part number or description. Also, If you have a piece of fire formed brass, weight it with a primer in and weigh it again full of water. The difference is the water fill weight value that will make my calculations more accurate.

Well that's something. I have to do some reverse engineering for that one. :p
I looked back at some pics as I usually write the load on the target but I didn't find any load data.

Well, this 250 gr Berger is still eluding me, but I have some really good stuff for the 300 gr SMK.

RE-25, 87.5gr, GM215M. 2727 FPS.

The 300 SMK has been the best performer in my .338 LM. A healthy dose of Retumbo has it over 2900 fps. This is in a Krieger barrel that has turned out to be a pretty fast barrel.
