Just had the wide one in my scope twice, didn't like the shot on either. Hard quartering to and some leaves over his vitals on the other. He's hot on a doe. Two more smaller bucks also came through.

Yep. Heart rate may have been a little elevated.

Funny thing is the stand i moved from would have given me better opportunities. Twice now I have had opportunities on him, both times on Sundays i have seen this deer and not shot him. I really could have taken the quartering to shot at 40 yards, I think I keep looking at his body and telling myself he's only 3.5. Very cool experience with him again though, extremely vocal buck.
