I'm betting Neyland will be louder this Saturday night than its been in years,especially if Vols are scoring a lot of points.Tennessee has the #4 rushing offense in the nation that can score quickly

Design of a stadium has more of an influence of crowd noise than the # of people....

What makes the 89,000 fans in the Swamp loud is that the crowd is right on top of the field...

I agree on design of stadium has a lot to do with crowd noise.Case in point,Michigan Stadium is largest in nation but I've heard from people thats been there,its not that loud because it is spread out and not very steep.You wont find a stadium in the nation that is steeper than Neyland.Oregons stadium is not very big but people say its very loud because of design.I'm betting one thing this weekend,there will not be a louder stadium than Neyland!!
