Well it's not really good news, especially since losing 11 last year and 9 the year before. Depth is gonna be an issue like last year. As far as lessor teams go FSU played 11 teams last year that went to Bowl Games.....

Year in and year out winning programs each lose several players. 12 from FSU is a record but close to normal for them and not necessarily a bad thing. Its good for recruiting. Good players who aspire to play in the NFL take note of the schools who place their players in positions to go the next level and it is to those schools good players gravitate. Look at the schools who consistently rate high in the recruiting rankings and you will see many players from those schools leaving and going on to the NFL.

It hasn't seem to bothered FSU lately and I could name at least one SEC school who would love to have just one of their players going to the combine but I won't. If your favorite team wins like FSU and other winning programs you would see your players on the list to go the combine too.

It is positive for a program when double digit players are invited to the combine. But can also be positive when not. For example, both Ohio State and UT with 4 and 2, respectively, should look at the low combine invites as very positive since it just shows how young are both teams.
