Got a pretty good buck on my place. Hunted him last year as much as I could on 21 acres. He showed up again a couple weeks ago but at night just like last year. Went out this morning expecting to just see a few does. Around 7 one of our Alpacas started alarm calling . Usually this means a coyote is around so I got ready in case it came out into the plot. After a few minutes of nothing I set the muzz back in the corner and picked up my coffee for a sip. Saw some movement off to my right and there he was easing out of the thicket. Had to set the coffee down quick, ease up the muzzy and got it on him. Went about 30 yards carrying a 348 grain .54 Powerbelt. couldn't be happier this morning.
