Nick Chubb has been confirmed to be out for the season with a severe knee injury including 3 torn ligaments and other cartilage. The ACL was reported not to have been damaged.


Prayers to you Nick. You are a hell of an athlete and have no doubt you will heal and return. Almost makes me sick he was injured. I hate to see injuries like this. I truly wish it could have been an injury free game. It more than likely would have been a different outcome but given the choice of season ending injury or a Vols win, I think I would have rather had the loss. Diehard Vol here but that's just the way I feel about it right now.


Hang tough Chubb and hope we see you on the field next year.

I am praying for this kid and his family.There will be hard times ahead. I hope he rehabs quickly and returns to the game he loves.

That was an ugly deal seeing his knee do that. Prayers for him to have a full recovery. He's a heck of a player and I hate to see that happen no matter who it is.

He is a great player, and I enjoyed watching him play.

Yeah tough to watch a kid get hurt like that. Hope he fully recovers and comes back next year just like he started off this year.

From the looks of the still pic, it is amazing that his ACL wasn't shredded. If it is indeed not damaged, that is a great blessing and should make his recovery somewhat quicker.

From seeing my daughter tear hers twice, it is a sickening feeling when I see someone go down with a knee injury, because I know the grueling rehab they have in front of them.

Nick Chubb is a great athlete and he'll be back. Let's just hope when he comes back he can play on the same level he has been.
