Went to Trolingers in Paris yesterday.
My buddy wanted to buy supper so I let him. Lol
We got two 1 1/2" thick porterhouse steaks and two 1 1/2" filets.
He has been dying to try a thick pork steak so we got one cut right at 1" thick.
Seasoned the pork steak with some Strawberry's rub. It came from a place in Missouri that is famous for their pork steaks.
All I did was rub it good and let it set about 3 hours.
Then threw it on the fire for 4 minutes per side.
All I can say is it was PHENOMENAL.
WOW, just wow.
Tender and SO juicy! !!!
The rest of the steaks were on point.
All seasoned with my usual concoction.
Excellent as usual but the higher quality meat definitely made a difference.
I bought some bacon for this morning but I'm gonna save it for tomorrow night or something.
Not really hungry for some reason this morning. Lol

You are killing me, literally. Definitely going to have to stop in at Trolingers next time I pass by. If you ever go on a saturday morning and want to get started early on clogging your arteries, drive a half a mile down and eat breakfast at Ann and Daves. They have a breakfast buffet which I refer to as the sausage buffet. They have bacon, sausage patties, linked sausage, smoked sausage, fried bologna, and sausage gravy on the buffet.
