Got a nice 9 point that has moved in for the last week. Visits usually around 9:30 pm and periodically a couple times into the early morning hours. Closest he has been to any daylight was one evening just after dark around 7:45. Any tips on how to get this guy enticed out during shooting hours?

It amazes me how some bucks I NEVER get a trail-cam picture of during daylight eventually get seen by hunters and killed. It must be my choice of camera locations. Food plots and scrapes - great places for concentrated deer activity and cameras - are generally visited by older bucks at night. However, where we tend to hunt them - along travel corridors - they move during daylight.

Just have to hunt. All of our mature deer are 98 percent nocturnal according to cameras you have to hunt to be there when they day light. I had a deer a few years ago I never had a daylight picture of him ever even in summer, first sit in the area and we kill him. Just interesting. Weather, rut, all those things could be the reason he daylights.
