No one in my family or friends hunt, what to do after killing a deer?

Take Robtattoo up on learning from him, it will save you alot of time and money. I can show you some spots on public land in Franklin County to get you started if you want. I hunt 95% of the time by myself and would be glad to show you a couple areas.

I think someone is bored .
Pretty late in the Game to be getting started .
You need to be target practicing all summer.
Should be out hunting and shooting and cleaning squirrels now. You should be able to handle small game before going after the Big Boys.
If you can shoot and clean a squirrel 1 shot and not get hair all over and bust the guts Then you are ready for the Big Game.

First thing I ever shot and gutted was an 8 pt buck on public land by myself. Then took it home and butchered myself. Self taught from books and you tube. It can be done.

I'm from Monteagle originally, I used to hunt public in Coffee county. I can share a few spots too if your interested. The info is a little dated but always produced every season for several years.

I've killed tons of deer and process my own. Ive never cleaned a squirrel
