Caught 11 smallmouth Mon. Biggest was 3.5, I thought we were doing good, till I met a boat that had caught 29.

If you don't mind me asking what were they hitting. Taking my son in the morning. Gonna try for for some rockfish. But wouldn't mind a few brownies. I'm probably throw a A rig and white fly.

We were throwing grubs in 12 to 15 ft. Don't know what the other boat was fishing, but they said they were fishing deeper. I was surprised to find 52 to 55 degree water in Jan.

Thanks for the info. We struck out today. Don't think the bite was on today though. Plenty of boats moving around . Usually tells me the fish ain't hungry. Thanks again.
