After all the hype I have been hearing, I had to get some Slick tricks!! These things fly like darts, shot the muzzy 4 blade last year and love the penetration, but they do fly a little wild on occasion! Hopefully these tricks will penetrate just as good and I will be one happy camper!!

They fly better and are stronger than Muzzys are . I was a Muzzy user until I tried Slick Tricks . This will be my 3rd season using them . I took 7 deer with them the first two seasons I used them without any issues .

I'm sold on em. The 4 blade magnums cause much blood loss, fly like nothin else I've shot, and can be resharpened without the blades flexing. Somebody got it right with this head for sure.

I shot 100gr. Thunderheads before switching to Slick Tricks. Probably won't ever use anything else! They are tough, hard-hitting heads.

The slick trick does NOWHERE near the damage as the Rage 2 blades!! I am not saying the slicktricks are bad, but they are NOT in the same leagues as the rage 2 blades as far as the damage they do, nor is their cutting diameter even close to the size of the Rage 2 blades. However, the slick tricks are a more durable broadhead than the Rage's.If i were forced to shoot a fixed head, I definitely would go with the slicktricks.

Put any good, sharp broadhead through both lungs and it will do the job . Slick Tricks will retain a sharp edge better that Rage heads when penetrating rib bones ,etc.. I have used both .

And what radar says is the Bible

No offense, but Radar and Bob must be blind if they think the slick tricks create an entrance and exit wound of the same size as the Rage 2 blades!!! I know that any good sharp broadhead will "do the job", thats common sense as long as you make a good shot, but I personally want a broadhead that makes GIANT entrance and exit wounds, and the slicktrick simply doesnt. My arguement was that the rage 2 blades were more devastating and they are.I never said that slicktricks sucked or wouldn't kill.As for retaining a sharp edge, I couldn't care less, because after I use a broadhead, that broadhead has served it purpose and will NEVER be used by me again!

I aint blind. I was being a little bit sarcastic. I shoot rocky mountain snypers.(basicly a rage but $10 cheaper.) I've had 3" wounds in some of the deer I have killed.

I'll keep using my $ 7.00 muzzy's I got on mark down at walmart last year.

I've had great sucess with them as well. I keep one in my quiver while hunting for the armadillos.(sorry I can't spell)
How ever they do tend to fly funny out of my bow becuase I'm shooting right around 305fps.

Never mentioned that they created a hole the size of Rage heads . I just stated a well placed sharp broadhead through both lungs is all that matters . The blade angle of the Slick tricks stretches the hide when entering , creating a bigger hole than the diameter of the head that is called the splash effect by Gary , who designed the heads . I can invite him to the forum and explain it to you if you have any questions . He is a cool guy and visits several other forums to answer questions regarding Slick tricks .
It probably won't be as large as the Rage heads , but you will can the added benefit of two extra cutting surfaces with 4 edges instead of Two . What I ment about retaining a sharp edge is the fact that most blades have to penetrate the rib bones before penetrating the lungs . The blades must be strong and retain a sharp edge to be sharp enough to cut well .
I have used both heads and killed deer with both heads . I like the strength of the Slick Tricks much better than Rage heads , and I like the ability to re-sharpen them when possible . Replacement blades are also readily available . Have you ever tried to find replacement blades for Rage heads where you bought them ? Most dealers don't carry them , so you have to buy another 3 pack of broadheads to replace one dull head .

Keep em' sharp and put em' where it counts ! Use what works for you , I really don't care what you use , but I will defend my choice . ;)
