Fairly simple, people that move out of crap hole ran blue states are probably more conservative thus have a mindset more down to what we have here in Tennessee for the time being. Take a few from here that moved from said crap hole states and moved to Tennessee for the way of life and they hunt.

Try being from NE Arkansas and seeing what happened to duck hunting there. 10k for a metal box in the ground for 60 day lease

media , any media is partly to blame . I remember 40-50 years ago someone wrote an article in field &stream , I think it was , about Ft Campbell . The NEXT weekend you could not hardly find a place to park near the sportsman club( check station ,and where you stood in line to get a permit , once military got there's )

Yes, the more public schools want to teach elementary school kids about homosexuality and being gender fluid, more people are going to move to red states. The population increase will bring more hunters.
You can deny reality, but there is a liberal movement to normalize abnormal sexual behavior and indoctrinate kids. That's not Q Anon, that's fact.

How many people on here duck hunt in Arkansas ? When we have oosers parking and sleeping in their vehicle a week or more before the season opens , public lands are shoulder to shoulder , the "sportsmen" make sure you know that they watch YouTube videos, and tiktok so they have superior knowledge about the sport, I truly wish AGFC would have a lottery for the ooser public land hunts. Allow maybe half of what descends every year . And definitely go up , waaaaay up on non resident license fees. Someone posted about the 10k a year lease, that's a little below average anymore. I have seen some that go as high as 45k for a season. So yeah, big influx of people into your state, whether permanent residents or ooser hunters WILL change everything about the sport we love. And nothing will ever get done because of the money it generates.

I have clients that pay 60K a year for a 6-man blind in Stuttgart.
I should have specified that we hunt northeast Arkansas, I'm sure it's just going to keep getting worse. I am fortunate to have several options to hunt . If I had to hunt public land, I would quit .
