Today's forecast shows 12' rise at Cairo over the next 5 days. That is a helluva jump in a short amount of time.UpperTully":osshjwzi said:....that river is going to be mighty iffy this year with all that snow up north.
x2. I ran mine in the Hatchie River few weeks back to check everything out, just in case I need it this spring.Hawk":1ic8o0np said:Might be a good idea totune up your outboard
Revised forecast calling for 34' crest on the 14th. Not good.Hawk":2g7ob5hx said:.....and the forecast at 29.7 by March 14. That will put a lot of water on Chickasaw.
x2. especially if it stays inundated for a while.SKFOOTER":3jkv1awb said:That absolutely SUX!!!!!!!!!!

The 2011 flood that came in May just about destroyed the Miss river flood plain flocks. They are just starting to rebound. Cross your fingers and hope that it does happen again this Spring.
I have heard this from several guys that hunt the bottoms from Shelby Forest up to Chickasaw Refuge (Upper Tully to me).UpperTully":2d2osxi7 said:.....but have rebounded beautifully.
