Saban saw something and must have had some pressure from above because he said at halftime the problem was just not with the QB and on the first drive of the 3Rd u get the same result .

U don't switch the man who got u there all season long and the man that remains calm under pressure . He's capable of making crunch plays . I don't understand the switch
