A great day with my son! We got started a little late but the day quickly got off to a great start got in the woods just as it was breaking day. It was so foggy you couldnt see 15ft in front of you. While standin by the truck getting everything ready I heard one sound off, I told Taylor I know where hes at so we started off after him, 15 min later we were about 75yrds from him and him gobbling his head off, he gobbled at every noise in the woods. owls, crows, tweety birds & other turkeys, to say he was hot was an understatment we sat and listened for him to fly down but we never heard him. All I heard was him gobbling a little closer I called a couple of times real softly to let him know where we were, he gobbled again and he sounded really close I told my son he was close get ready 30 seconds later he came in on a dead run as fast as he could I told my son to shoot and the rest as they say is history. He came in on a string, Im glad to see he read the script this morning! I am so very proud of my son! When I was a kid my dad used to tell me all the time I would rahter see one of you boys kill one than me I never understood that untill my son killed a nice 8 point a couple years ago. I am truly blessed God is so good to us all to just give us the chance to be in his woods and take one of his precious creations! Sorry so long!! Also congrats to all the kids and thier parents!

Awesome, congrats to all! Our Vac ran over and a Basketball tourney to boot put a huge damper on our hunting for the weekend.
Good Job to all however!
