Those names are accurate considering most alabama fans pronounce bama as bammer, the fanbase reveres a criminal named Harvey Updyke and treats him like a celebrity, and there are more bandwagon alabama fans across the south than there are for all other teams combined. Can you honestly dispute anything I just said? Of course not.

Most Bama fans despise Updyke and, pronounce Bama/Alabama appropriately. Having lived there for about 30 years, I am quite sure I know more Alabama fans than you do.

You probably have a point on the Bandwagon fans thought...people like to be associated with winning teams...but that isn't exclusive to Alabama. Its true no matter the sport/team. Mark my words, the better Tennessee gets, the more traffic this sports forum will see. Its been virtually dead up until this year. Why? Bandwagon fans.

This is not true. The classy alabama grads that hate the 85% hate Updyke, but the 85% see him as a celebrity. When they see him in public they take pictures with him as if he's Elvis. You can see the "celebrity" photo ops all over social media.

I don't like Alabama or Florida but Alabama will be the SEC's only team in the four team playoff,so I'm for Alabama to win the SECCG

If you can root for alabama to win another championship and build even more momentum and take even more top recruits all in the name of some silly SEC allegiance you aren't much of a Tennessee fan. If the only way the sec wins a national championship is the Updykes do it I hope the SEC never wins another one. Go Gators!
