Ps they are not the same birds they were when I fed them everyday. They are skittish, spook when they see me, and I am lucky to even see 1 behind the house anymore. They gobble and strut and that means I see em completely different....

Same birds just acting differently.. Still your pets... Just keep feeding them!!!

Love the cardboard box smoker. I saw Alton Brown make one on "Good Eats" a few years ago and he smoked salmon in it. It made me want to try it, but I haven't done it yet.

thanks. It works, just be careful not to let it catch on fire. Since I used hot charcoal I lined the whole bottom in foil.
