Georgia is a great team but their secondary hasn't been tested this year. UT secondary lacks a bit, but Stetson Bennett is a joke. He won't get a chance to throw into the secondary. With Hooker, Tillman, and Hyatt and throw in Small on some short swing passes, woowee. That's a Killer combination every way you turn.

TN BELIEVES they will win... thats worth as much as home field advantage for GA.
I hate to sound cliché, but it's going to be about turnovers, as I think both teams are pretty much equal (TN better on offense, but GA better on defense)
Been thinking about this... normally if you win the coin toss you always defer to the second half.... but with TNs firepower this year, it might actually be an advantage to recieve at the start of the game if u win the coin toss. Come out of the gate punching GA in the face and put them down by 7 3 min into the game.

Even years the Vols sucked the Georgia game was always a good game hopefully we have their number
3 min in? Are we planning on slowing down the hurry up offense??
I kid….. that would definitely be the right way to start unless we can force them 3 and out and still go up in the first 5 min of game
It will be a heckuva test for the Vols. I'd have to give Georgia the edge playing in Athens. Hope I'm wrong and the big orange comes away with the W.

Heupel's preference is to defer to the second half. He's on record saying that and what he really likes to do is get a quick score going into halftime and score again opening the third. It's demoralizing to the other team. A two score flip. He's yet to not defer this season.
