I'll add to my last post some and say even though they got throttled doesn't mean most of those boys weren't giving it hell. I think a large number weren't ready to go but that was a heavy weight fight and a good number of them put it on the line.
Georgia defense is that good.

Yeah I'm not surprised we got beat. I am surprised we weren't even in it.Well said. From the first snap they've been the better team. My prediction was Georgia but thought the Vols would play better. It happens so time to regroup and win out. Win or lose GBO!
Score really ain't that bad but it was never close.
I know Bball is different but every time UK loses in basketball my friends go straight to "that was a good loss, it'll straighten them out"… you don't have that luxury in football and we very well may have pissed away any hopes at the playoffs.
If we finish like we should, 11-1 is pretty damn good for a program that was on life support in the very recent past.
I think you're right. Hyatt and Tillman were nonfactors. That secondary had em bottled up the whole game and that's been our bread and butter

Pre-snap penalties and a hand full of overthrows that would have been scores or led to scores really hurt.
Hahahahhaha. Happy we could beat the # 1 team. Wasn't even close. Sorry all my TN friends ran their mouths all week about the upset they were going to give us

It wasn't the coaches as much as it was Georgia's lightning fast defense. There was not a play the coach could call that would of made a difference.
Georgia could've beat the Dallas Cowboys today.
Again, congrats to ga on a dominant hand played. That said, I'm happy where the Vols are and that they still have a shot. Definitely going to have a good bowl game. They, not we, as I'm not a player.

Really? Was looking forward to the annual music city bowl bid.
But, no joke... ...The people trying to bring UT fans down because they got beat on the road against the best team in the country, your wasting your breath. This team is way ahead of schedule. Exceeded everyone expectations for 2 stright years.and for fan base is 100% still bought in.
I'll also throw this out, that I've been waiting for TN to have "that game" , where things just don't go right, and it couldn't have happened at a better time and playing a top 3 ranked team. It seems every team has those "close" games, and even against unranked opponents, just glad Tennessee had theirs against the top ranked bulldogs.
