Congrats on the deer. If I called my wife "the old lady," there would be lots of trouble in mi casa.
Deer came back positive for CWD . First deer ive spent money on and took to a processor of course !
It was a big healthy deer , trying to decide what to do with it now , picked it up from the processor today and was just about to try the summer sausage !

Not to be a smart ass, but if healthy it would not have CWD. That's the perception issue being fought. I side with the idea that I am not eating it. I know no one asked my opinion.
And congrats to your SO. Doesn't diminish her accomplishment.
Makes me feel kinda wimpy for loving the 7mm-08 and it's lack of significant recoil.
Well we are trying to decide if we are going to eat it or not we've been anxiously awaiting to get the meat back got a bunch of good stuff made with it hot breakfast sausage ,summer sausage I just don't see me Throwing It All Away. It was a very healthy looking deer
Personally I wouldn't let that stop me from eating deer. But I'm old and don't have a long time left. Chances are, you probably already have eaten deer with cwd
