270ish yard shot with his Tikka 6.5 creedmoor. Absolute perfect shot. Super proud Dad!! Interesting story with this deer…. He hit this buck on opening day of rifle season. We tracked him a very long ways and just came to the conclusion that he was either still alive or dead and we weren't gonna find him. He showed back up Thursday when I was hunting by myself. Came back home after the hunt and told him he's still alive!! He got to close the chapter on him tonight. First shot from a few weeks ago was in front of the shoulder. He's had a great season and I'm blessed to get to enjoy it with him!
