• Help Support TNDeer:

One bracket just came out

Heupel has gotten Tennessee to finish inside the AP top 6 twice in his first 4 years.

I'll take it.
The Trophy Case must look like Gaylord Fockers Wall by this point.

What happens if clemson wins? They kicking smu out? It will be interesting how they punish or not punish conference championship games.
The shouldn't they came out and said they will not punish teams playing in conference champ game. I would understand knocking a 3 loss team out that picks up a 4th loss like Clemson.

You can't make that statement then leave out a 11-1 team that lost a conference chip game. And give teams like 10-2 Ohio st and 11-1 Noter Dame home games that didn't even play in one.

If they do that, No one besides 3 loss teams that have no other chance of getting in will want to play in a conference chip.

I do think Tennessee should be 6 and OSU should be 7. I think SMU will be in win or lose. Unless is a blowout maybe.
I just hope The Mustang's win the ACC and I hope Georgia beats Texas.

I think the wording was teams would not be "unduly punished" for losing a conference game. There can be a lot of flexibility in that.

I don't recall seeing the vols head coach releasing a video pleading to be in the playoffs like I did Bama

I believe Notre dame takes bama our first round

When in the playoff era has TN had a legitimate argument to be IN the playoff. This year with 12 teams in the mix they look to be solidly in, thus no argument is needed.

Oregon is not going to drop out if they lose their conference championship game but they would drop in the rankings.
Correct SMU should drop....to the 11th seed they are 8th now. I don't think a 1 loss team should go from being in, to being completely out cause they lost a chip game. A game Noter Dame doesn't even have to play in. So lets Throw in a 3 loss team that got beat down 2 weeks ago by a 5 win and picked up a big win over Auburn last week.
