I've been a serious catfisherman for about 25 years. Saw something today I've never seen and may never see again.

My client John Turner set the hook today - a single hook drifting the river - and as we saw the catfish surface we realized there were TWO catfish. It appeared that the two fish apparently went after the bait (chicken breast, BTW) at the same time side-by-side. The winner got hooked, but somehow in the underwater skirmish, the line wrapped around the second fish so tight it couldn't escape. (See photo) Both of them ended up in the boat.

Oh, we did catch some other fish today, BTW. ;)

Awesome. Never seen that before.
I was jugging once and caught one that wrapped the line tight around itself. It was floating by the jug like it was dead. It went crazy when it was unwrapped.
