Driving back from SE MT I seen a flock of Jakes, had to be a couple dozen. It's amazing that in a harsh environment they can do so well, especially when compared to what seems like perfect habitat in the SE USA.

Almost time to apply for Florida. I have to think of which new state to hit this year… Missouri, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan- states I'm thinking about.

I've hunted 3 states on your wish list in the last 3 years. Shoot me a pm if I can help you settle on which place to hunt, where to stay, etc.

Trying to stay in deer mode. It's pretty hard both days I hunted the lease I've seen and heard turkeys. I can't help but wish for April.

Turkeys, Turkeys and more turkeys were everywhere this morning. I finally had to shoo them off so I could deer hunt! Man we had an excellent hatch this year!

Saw a bearded hen with 2 other adults. 1 Jenny and 2 jakes. They were cutting up at flydown this morn.
