Oops!! Mathews

Ahhh, you jumped on the bandwagon. Oh well, someone has to pay for the advertising. Just kidding, someone had to say it. :D

Glad you like it. Mathews quality has gone down hill in my opinion though. Had a Reesen and a Monster and both were terrible! Had an outback and it was hands down a better bow.

I would rather just give him the money and let him keep the bow. Rather have a Hoyt or Martin any day. Oops...Mathews is right. You messed up bad. JMHO

I've never owned one, but a friend of mine that has shot Mathews from the beginning, had a Reesen and said it was their worst shooting bow by far.

He was correct. It gave me a "reezen" to swich bow comapanies!

A guy buys a new bow, gets excited about it and posts pictures THEN somebody decides to bash his choice. Just like ArcheryTalk.

Easy, AS! He's just proud of his new rig. I've never owned a Mathews, but have shot several. I personally feel they are way overpriced. The Mission line of bows are simply the older Mathews without the name and without the cost. A few more years, the Z7 will have the name Mission on it with half the price tag. Just my opinion.

Sorry...guess I've offended a few. Mathews has just put a bad taste in my mouth is all. I believe I told the man I was glad he liked his bow. He gave his opinion and I gave mine.

UTGrad bought a Z7. I've seen no one bash a Z7, only a Reesen.

I think the faster these bows are getting the worst they are going to feel when shooting them. They are getting harsh draw cycles with little valley. When you go to let them down the bow wants to take your arm out of socket. Notice how the Z7 is slower than last year's Reezen. They have blended speed and comfort. The Z7 draws smoother than my Parker Blackhawk which had an IBO of 325.

The bashing is pretty lame. Hoyt, Mathews, Martin, Parker, Bowtech, et al. are all good bow companies.

I think you will find this with any bow that has high let-off.

And the manufacturer.

Before I'm called a fanboy, I've moved away from Mathews for my tournament bows....so there :D
