Opening day

As a few others I'll be working opening weekend. So, I took advantage and hunted 15th-17th so that was my opening season. And considering going tomorrow and Wednesday.

How about if I shoot a turkey with my crossbow while deer hunting?

I no longer hunt in morning until late October. To much evidence you bump more deer than you know. Nothing is 100% and some layouts are perfect to intercept but in my case I would be walking through the middle of where they would that time of the morning. Best for me to surprise them in the afternoon.

The non broad heads are big blunted rubber tips designed for small game. They're for the squirrels and are legal. Broad heads are for deer and are legal. I fail to see the illegality of it???

It is illegal to have a non broadheaded arrow while deer hunting. Silly rule but i guess it keeps you from accidentally shooting a deer with the wrong arrow.

I'll possibly go Sunday afternoon. I don't really do mornings till closer to November.

LBL has been open since the first week of September. Have not gotten one but come close. The bugs are real bad this year. Good luck to you all.
