Opening weekend

I had plans on taking a 20 year old young man that wants to learn how to whitetail hunt. I've taken him scouting and have had him shooting my back up bow. I hope we can still make it out there b/c our schedules are tough to line up. A down pour and high winds may not be the best first time exposure.

Rain or shine I'll be there. My deer freezer went out so I need to knock a few does downs. Next Wednesday and Thursday is looking pretty dang good.

Looking like Sunday for me but honestly, next week is looking excellent Mornings in the 40s and highs in the low 70s.

Going to be chasing ducks in the morning and then try and take out some does in the evening.

Planning to do some additional prep work for juvenile hunt. Probably move a stand and hang another.

Plus get some cameras out and cameras moved a bit.
